A4Art Education is pleased to announce our first annual Gallatin Valley Student Art Show at the Gallatin Valley YMCA from April 18 - 29, 2023.
We will have a reception on Tuesday, April 25, from 5-7pm for the families, friends and the general public with light refreshments. If you can’t make the reception but want to see the students’ work, the show will be up at the YMCA and open to the public until April 29th.
The Gallatin Valley Student Art Show will feature an impressive selection of artworks by 57 students taught by these certified art teachers in our region:
Bryan Petersen, Hailey Vidmar - Bozeman High School
Beth Pfaff, Stacie Smith - Gallatin Valley High School
Ashley Davis - Gallatin Gateway School
Miranda Weeda - Manhattan Junior High
Tim Rooney, Marlene Schumman - Sacajawea Middle School
Marianne Filloux - Monforton Elementary
Katie Kemp - Monforton Middle School
This show is hosted by Advocates for Arts Education (eA4ART) a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Bozeman. A4ART understands that a complete education for every child includes equal access to a quality visual arts education. The visual arts are a way to learn about ourselves, connect to others, and participate in our world. Visual arts have existed throughout all stages of civilization and in every region of the world. Research shows that sustained visual arts education teaches vital life skills such as engaged learning, problem solving, essential motor skills, persistence, careful reflection, critical thinking, innovation and joy!
We are excited to celebrate student artists and the teachers that help you learn!
